Where can I send my costumes
We only accept donations through pick up at this time. If you would like to organize a large donation of costumes, we can provide you a wardrobe box (donation bin) and will be in contact to schedule a pickup. Please contact us info@secondstagedance.org
Do you accept used dance attire
We accept gently–used dance wear, but we have guidelines as to the type of attire we can reuse. After you contact us, we will provide you an outline for how to sort and organize your items to helps us receive your items smoother. Please contact us if you have any additional questions on what we do / won’t take.
what about point shoes
As these are a specialty item–they are not able to be reused if worn in. However, we do donate them to those who wish to recycle parts of the shoe.
what happens with my costume / dance attire after i donate
It depends on the time of your donation–if we are assisting a program with finding a certain style of shoe or costume than it will be directly given to a dancer in need. New items may be resold for a discounted price and gently-used items are donated.
Where do your proceeds go
All proceeds generated from our merchandise and dance attire are circulated back into improving our programs.
do you have volunteer positions available
We are currently looking for volunteers for spring 2023.
